Messengers to the 53rd annual meeting of the Colorado Baptist General Convention welcomed six new congregations into their fellowship and adopted a $4 million budget for 2009.

In only a few months, Baby Molly has blessed so many lives. Brad, a church planter in Denver, and his wife Haley were blessed just a few months ago to have their second child. Brad and Haley named their cute little baby girl Molly. Unfortunately, she was born with a severe problem with her digestive system.

Colorado Baptists have been given a huge opportunity to make a kingdom impact during a national event right here in our own backyard. As you are fully aware, I am sure, Denver will be hosting the Democratic National Convention this summer  and we have opportunities for service during and around this event. Our disaster relief organization has been asked to be a part of a historic partnership between non-profit, religious and Governmental agencies.

Thats right, the newly formed Colorado Baptist Youth Ministries network is up and running.  This is the network for Southern Baptist youth leaders in the state of Colorado (CBGC) connection, communication, and strategy to reach the students of Colorado.
