Some limited funding is available for those who want to reach out to the needy through feeding ministries. The aim of these ministries is to meet a physical need while you have opportunity to build personal relationships, and ultimately meet the deeper spiritual needs of individuals through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Funding is awarded through grants from the North American Mission Board. There are specific requirements for funding which include filing Hunger Activity Reports. You may view these requirements on the NAMB web site under Domestic Hunger Guidelines. Application to the CBGC may be made at any time, but must be submitted by October 15th to be considered for funding in the following year. Grants are awarded once a year in December, and follow the calendar year for funding.
