An Overview

Mission Service Corps (MSC) is a team of self-funded Missionaries who serve at least 20 hours per week for two years or more. They provide their own support in an assigned ministry that supports the evangelism and church planting efforts of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). The assignment comes through the Mission Service Corps office of NAMB. Read more

La Veta- Mission Service Corps Missionaries traveled to southern Colorado for a mission presentation at Mountain View Baptist Church in La Veta.

The MSC team included Larry and Pat Walker, Colorado MSC Coordinators; Gene and Sally Erwin, MSC Boys Faith and Fly-fishing Ministry; David and Kathy Britton, MSC Evangelism Coordinators in Pueblo; and Dorthy Caddell, chaplain at the VA facility in Walsenburg. Read more

Directing Truckers to Christ

MSC Chaplain John Mitchell and his wife, Edra, are in charge of the Transport For Christ Mobile Chapel located on the parking lot of the Sapp Bros. Truck Plaza in Commerce City. John and eight volunteer chaplains operate the chapel 13 hours a day, seven days a week. They provide evangelism, Bible studies and two worship services on Sunday. Read more

Prayer for MSC Workers

Please pray for Mission Service Corps workers as they serve the Lord in a variety of settings:

Tommy and Margaret McRight (MSC Consultants, Pikes Peak Association)

Pray for Christians to become convicted to be willing to serve in their churches and not attend just for entertainment. Pray for the town of Calahan. Starting June 1st the will be the interim pastoral couple for Calvary Baptist , Monte Vista. Please pray for them in this ministry.

Pat and Alma Pattison (Prison Ministry)

Pray for after care ministry and women’s shelter. Also pray for their son Roger who is an alcoholic, and has lost his job.

Biby to Serve as MSC Missionary

Mission Service Corps Missionaries Cody and Melissa Biby have accepted NAMB’s assignment to Christian Challenge campus ministry at Adams State College in Alamosa, CO. The Bibys arrived in January with their three children 9 year old Bailee, 5 year old Malachi and 3 year old Rylee. Cody and Melissa are from Oklahoma. Cody is a Southwestern Seminary graduate answering God’s call to collegiate ministry. Mission Service Corps Missionaries are self supporting raising support in various ways.
