VBS Teams, Time to Get Ready for Some 'Amazing' Adventures

WOW! AWESOME! This is what you heard if you attended one of the VBS Training Clinics held statewide in March.

If you want to see grown-ups getting excited, dancing and singing and having a great time, go to a VBS Training Clinic! Whether you’re 8 or 80, when the VBS music starts playing and someone like Amy Adams or Melissa Velasquez starts showing you the motions and leading you to sing, you are on your feet and movin’ to the music, worshiping and praising our Awesome God!

There were some great VBS Training Clinics in Colorado this winter and a lot of churches sent VBS teams so they could get ideas and training for spring and summer Vacation Bible Schools. Continental Divide Association offered VBS training for churches in their association. Churches from four associations attended the VBS Training Clinic provided by the Royal Gorge Association at Majestic Baptist, Pueblo West. Mesa Verde and Grand Valley Associations had “open house” type events with displays and presentation of VBS materials.

Spring and Summer are excellent times for reaching kids in your community or for getting your kids, grandkids and neighbors involved in VBS or other activities. Vacation Bible Schools, Sports Camps, Arts Camps, and Backyard Bible Clubs are just a few ways to connect with the community around your church. Schools are back in session, which means Summer break is over for many children. Despite those facts, Vacation Bible School will be a longtime memory...possible an eternal memory for many of them.
