Message from The Colorado Department of Public Health: "During this time of heightened awareness regarding the recent Swine Flu outbreak, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment wants to provide you with resources and offer suggestions to help protect the public and to mitigate the spread of the virus. According to both the Center of Disease Control and the World Health Organization, the current ful (H1N1) has the potential to become a pandemic, resulting in high rates of infection and significantly higher mortality rates. Consequently, we request faith communities to strongly consider taking steps to help protect the community during services. Our primary focus is on prevention. Prevention, however, requires a collective effort to be successful."
