Steps to Leading the Church to Align With God

1. Accept God's call that one of your responsibilities is to keep the church dependent upon Him.
2. As pastor, set the pace for seeking God.
3. Cast the call to the church to seek the Lord with wholehearted diligence.
4. Set a date for starting.
5. Start introducing such passion to seek God into current setting, worship activity, committees, and all church related events.
6. Personally model this.
7. Call the people into a specific month-long process of prayer for God's direction.
8. Gather corporately to share the God-given vision.
9. Give God praise for speaking to His people.
10. Establish this as a pattern for getting vision from God.
11. Begin planning for and praying about next steps.
12. Once again, don't quit.
