Reasons You Should Be Diligent In Seeking God

Reasons You Should Be Diligent In Seeking God:

1. In order to humbly respond to God's invitation of communion (Ps. 27:8).
2. To follow the example of total dependence on God as set by the Lord Jesus.
3. To insure that you sustain the position of Christ as head of the Church (Col. 1:18).
4. To shift from pastor and/or leadership setting the direction for the church based on what they would like to accomplish over the next year and beyond.
5. To draw the total church body into the process of listening to the Lord.
6. It breeds confidence and builds experience among the body of believers so that they now know that God speaks to them.
7. To allow the church to operate out of a sense of obedience to God.
8. In order that the church might experience growth that is centered in and brought forth by Christ.
9. It will redirect the priority of the church to be on that which God desires.
