2012 Colorado Missions Offering, in Honor of Nicy Murphy
From the President of the Colorado Baptists:
Colorado Pastors,
Let me take a moment to remind you of the great privilege we have.
Colorado is a land blessed! We ski snow covered mountains, raft the mighty Colorado river, and enjoy soothing hot springs. From the green of the trees to the shine of the ice, we see the splendor of scene-altering water everywhere.
How many people come to Colorado and only see that splendor? How many people never see the Creator that knows of every drop that has fallen? How many will see that water but miss the living water?
Nicy Murphy, in her 1959 poem, saw this vision: "Missions in Colorado is ministering to those who enjoy God's placid lakes, tumbling streams, and majestic waterfalls but who have never drunk of the Water of Life."
The goal for the 2012 Colorado Missions Offering is $175,000. I want to urge all of you to lead your churches in giving to the Colorado Missions Offering, In Honor of Nicy Murphy. Together, we can see Colorado saturated with the gospel. Together, we can hand the many visitors and residents of Colorado a cup of the water of life.
You should receive your CMO materials for our 2012 campaign in the middle of August.
Please join me and we will see the name of Christ proclaimed in Colorado like never before.
