Why plant churches?

The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for 1) the numerical growth of the Body of Christ in any region, and 2) the continual corporate renewal and revival of the existing churches in a region. Nothing else – not crusades, outreach programs, para-church ministries, growing mega-churches, congregational consulting, nor church renewal processes – will have the consistent impact of dynamic, extensive church planting. This is an eyebrow raising statement. But to those who have done any study at all, it is not even controversial. – Tim Keller

This is why Colorado Baptists plant churches. God may be calling you to start a church. He may be calling your church to adopt a fledgling congregation. Maybe your church has become pregnant by surprise.

Maybe your church is dying and looking to contribute your assets to a church plant that will leave a multiplying legacy. Maybe God is calling your church to partner with another church planting church in a small way to learn more about starting a new congregation. Regardless of your circumstance Colorado Baptist churches have committed to work together to make a big deal about Jesus in Colorado and this website helps them connect with each other. This is where we combine our hearts, our heads and our resources to bring glory to God. Jump in. Meet our team. Find some partners. Get started.
