CBGC 53rd Annual Celebration and Events: October 20-21, 2008
The 53rd Annual Meeting of the Colorado Baptist General Convention, and related events, will be held October 20-21, 2008 at the Four Points at Sheraton Denver Southeast Convention Center & Hotel, 6363 E. Hampden Ave, Denver, CO. University Hills Baptist Church, Denver, will host this year's event. To make your hotel reservations the toll free number is 1-866-837-4182. Pastors' Conference - "Send Your Rain, Oh Lord!"
The Pastors' Conference will be held at the Four Points Sheraton Southeast, Denver, on Monday, Oct. 20. The Pastors' Conference is scheduled to coincide with the CBGC Annual Meeting and hotel and other information may be accessed by going to the CBGC Annual Meeting site.
The Conference will have four sessions starting at 2:15 pm on Monday, October 20. Fernando Caballero and Sons will be leading worship and speakers for this conference will include Kelly Green, Dr. Roy Fish and Dr. Ed Stetzer. See attachment below for a complete schedule. Katie Brazelton, Ph.D., MDiv, and MA in Education (with CA Lifetime Principal and Secondary Teacher credentials), is the founder of Life Purpose Coaching Centers International®, which trains Christian men and women from all over the world (via online, tele-conferences) to become Life Purpose Coach® professionals.

Katie now spends a great many of her days talking with women about their God-given dreams, passions, and purposes. Her calling to help women discover their life purposes led their to Calcutta to talk to Mother Teresa about joy; to Belfast as a guest of Ireland's Nobel Peace Laureate to discuss inner peace; and to the tiny island of Malta to study St. Paul's time of shipwreck. She is particularly drawn to "broken," authentic people who are ready to lead surrendered lives; who have experienced hardship and trials - and have decided to let God use it all for good; and leaders who are willing to obey God in order to become "oaks of righteousness - a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor" (her life verse from Isaiah 61:3).
