Katie Brazelton, Ph.D., MDiv, and MA in Education (with CA Lifetime Principal and Secondary Teacher credentials), is the founder of Life Purpose Coaching Centers International®, which trains Christian men and women from all over the world (via online, tele-conferences) to become Life Purpose Coach® professionals.
For years prior to her book tour, Dr. Brazelton was…
• Director of Women’s Bible Studies,
• Director of Golden Gate Theological Seminary (at Saddleback),
• and a Licensed Minister
all at the purpose driven Saddleback Church (Pastor Rick Warren).
Katie, who is currently a professor at Rockbridge Seminary and bestselling author of the Pathway to Purpose for Women series, has been thrilled to see her books translated into two to ten languages each. Her latest Zondervan book is Character Makeover: 40 Days with a Life Coach to Create the Best You.
Katie is represented by Ambassador Speakers Agency. She has been a featured guest for radio and television broadcasts, such as Midday Connection and 100 Huntley Street. She has been interviewed for publications such as Today’s Christian Woman and Alive! – and has been honored to speak at such venues as Focus on the Family and the American Association of Christian Counselor’s World Conference. In 2005, she began the process of fulfilling her 1995 God-given dream of opening 200 Life Purpose Coaching Centers globally. To read about that dream, go to www.LifePurposeCoachingCenters.com.
Katie now spends a great many of her days talking with women about their God-given dreams, passions, and purposes. Her calling to help women discover their life purposes led their to Calcutta to talk to Mother Teresa about joy; to Belfast as a guest of Ireland's Nobel Peace Laureate to discuss inner peace; and to the tiny island of Malta to study St. Paul's time of shipwreck. She is particularly drawn to "broken," authentic people who are ready to lead surrendered lives; who have experienced hardship and trials - and have decided to let God use it all for good; and leaders who are willing to obey God in order to become "oaks of righteousness - a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor" (her life verse from Isaiah 61:3).
Jimmie Davis is director of girls' ministries at First Baptist Church Spartanburg, SC, where her husband Sam is assistant pastor.
Marta is the Director of CLD for the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Oklahoma City.
