Associations are made up of cooperating Southern Baptists churches within a defined geographic area. The churches within an association cooperate together to make disciples and address their God-given vision for carrying out the Great Commission. Many associations work toward their agreed upon goal by helping churches train leaders, strengthening local congregations and assisting in church planting.  A core value of associations is teamwork; much more can be accomplished with the synergy of working together than can be done separately.

Cooperating Colorado churches have been divided into eleven associations.  Two associations are located in the eastern plains: Great Commission Partnership and Arkansas Valley Association.  Four associations (Longs Peak, Mile High, Pikes Peak and Royal Gorge) are located along the I-25 corridor.  Western Colorado has five associations: High Country, Grand Valley, Uncompahgre, Continental Divide and Mesa Verde.
