We are planning our annual road trip to Group’s National Youth Ministry Conference. We had a great time last year and all saw benefits in our ministries. If you were not able to go last year I encourage you to pray about attending this year. If you have never heard about the conference, check out the website here.

 One of the great benefits of a group road trip like this is not only that we save on registration by registering as a group, but we also split the transportation costs. This makes it so that your church can probably swing it without too much trouble. Listed below are the costs for conference registration and transportation.

We will leave Denver (MABC) around 7am on February the 26^th and spend the night in Saint Louis Mo. We will arrive in Columbus Ohio the afternoon of the 27^th, and spend the next 3 nights there at the conference. We will leave Ohio on Monday the 1^st and stay in St. Louis that night. On Tuesday the 2^nd (late afternoon) we will arrive back in Denver.

Meal and lodging costs are the responsibility of each person. Estimation of all hotel costs are $350 per person and assume double occupancy. Hotel reservations have already been made to ensure availability at the group rates. We will be staying in the Hyatt Regency Columbus which is attached to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. We plan to eat fast food, but plan on a few “nice” meals together. I think I spent an average of $10 per meal…some were less, some were more.

Finally, we have a great road trip with fellow workers having a great time together. If you didn’t go last year, you don’t know anything about the 1 pound Hershey bar melted on someone’s pants, or the late night trip to White Castle, or the games, music and movies in the van.
